If your content is truly unique and different, the world needs to know about it with a little assistance on your end.

A few of the many strategies that you can employ to promote your jewelry content in 2021 are:

1. Blogger Outreach

You own a jewelry site, so don’t just contact people in the plumbing industry or landscaping industry and ask them to help promote your content. You need to target the right bloggers in the jewelry industry that:

  • Share similar content to what you publish
  • May have previously shared your content

But the key is to not ask for a link or blatant promotion. Bloggers get a ton of mail from people begging for them to share or link to their content. Instead, just casually tell them that you’ve posted on a topic that they liked in the past.

Your content needs to do all of the “talking.” What do I mean? If the content is superb, the person will want to share it with their audience. If you’re too demanding, you may miss out on a great opportunity to promote your content.

2. Promote It in Your Newsletter

Companies that struggle to promote their content often have newsletters sitting there with valuable contacts that want to read the information they produce. If you have a newsletter, be sure to tell your subscribers about:

  • New content that you post
  • Content that you may have updated
  • Content that you may be in the middle of creating

Email marketing helps you reach customers in a personalized, intimate matter. There is a lot of opportunity to promote to the right audience and people in your niche right through your list.

3. Live Video and Webinars

Written content isn’t the only form of content that people want to see. Jewelry is the perfect visual niche because you can show people the different types of stones, tips on cleaning jewelry, the hottest trends and so much more with video content.

While you should be working on creating multiple pieces of content across many mediums, live video or webinars should remain at the top of your list.

Before you go live, be sure to broadcast it to your audience well in advance across your social media profiles and in your newsletter. 

Tip: Repurpose your written content to your video platforms, whether it be Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Snap, TikTok or others.

4. Laser-focused Groups

Distribution channels were a hot topic in 2020, and they’re expected to remain a top priority this year. Groups and Reddit are major opportunities for content marketing. You’ll want to make sure that you don’t choose just any group; the group needs to be laser focused.

A few outlets of choice for groups are:

  • Facebook
  • LinkedIn
  • Reddit (technically not a group)

But you need to be very discerning when choosing the groups and platforms that you use for your content promotion.

Now, all that’s left to do is start creating content that you think your audience will love. Spend time refining each piece of content and really dig deep into your consumer’s pain points to create posts worth sharing.
